Terms of Use & End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Agreement to Terms & Apple EULA Incorporation

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Contest Math Pro™ (CoMP) (the "Application"), you ("User", "Parent", or "Student") agree to be legally bound by this End User License Agreement and Terms of Use (the "Agreement"). If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

This Agreement is between you and Kinetic Inspiration LLC ("Developer", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"), not Apple, Inc. ("Apple"). However, Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement. Upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Apple has the right to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary. This Application is also subject to Apple's Standard EULA available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

2. License Grant & Permitted Educational Use

Kinetic Inspiration LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Contest Math Pro on compatible Apple iOS and iPadOS devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Contest Math Pro is engineered as an educational competition training laboratory for students preparing for the AMC 8® and junior mathematics competitions. You agree to use the Application exclusively for personal, educational, non-commercial training.

3. In-App Subscriptions & Apple StoreKit Billing Terms

Contest Math Pro is offered as a free-to-download application ("CoMP Free") with optional auto-renewable subscription plans ("CoMP Pro").

A. Auto-Renewal Terms

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the 7-day free trial for the Annual Competition Pass and Season Crunch Pass, for eligible new subscribers). Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate specified at the time of purchase.

B. 7-Day Free Trial Policy

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. If you do not wish to continue into the paid subscription, you must cancel the trial at least 24 hours before the 7-day period ends.

C. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Apple device settings:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
• Tap your Apple ID / Profile Name at the top of the screen.
• Tap Subscriptions.
• Select Contest Math Pro from your list of active subscriptions.
• Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) and confirm.

Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current active billing period. You will keep Pro access until that period ends. Kinetic Inspiration LLC does not have access to your Apple account and cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

D. Refunds & StoreKit Processing

All financial transactions and in-app purchases are handled exclusively by Apple. Kinetic Inspiration LLC never collects, processes, or stores your credit card or financial billing information. To request a refund, please follow Apple's official refund procedure at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

E. Restoring Purchases

If you change devices or reinstall Contest Math Pro, you can restore previous purchases at any time by opening the Pro screen inside the app and tapping Restore Purchases.

F. Apple Family Sharing

CoMP Pro auto-renewable subscriptions support Apple Family Sharing. A single subscription purchase may be shared with up to five (5) additional family members within your Apple Family group across their personal iPad and iPhone devices at no extra cost, subject to Apple’s Family Sharing terms and conditions. Each family member must have Family Sharing enabled under their Apple ID account settings.

4. Intellectual Property & Common-Law Trademarks

All text, code, software algorithms, practice problems, hint progressions, solutions, diagrams, user interfaces, graphics, and the Mathimus™ Socratic AI persona are the exclusive intellectual property of Kinetic Inspiration LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Contest Math Pro™ (also written ContestMathPro™), CoMP™ and Mathimus™ are proprietary common-law trademarks of Kinetic Inspiration LLC. Kinetic Inspiration LLC claims and reserves all common-law trademark rights in these marks under United States federal and state law. Any unauthorized commercial use, simulation, or confusingly similar variation without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

Every challenge question included in Contest Math Pro™ is a new problem written to practice the same skills and ideas the AMC 8® tests. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, extract, or redistribute any problem sets, hints, or assets from the Application.

5. Competition Independence & Trademark Disclaimers

AMC 8® and American Mathematics Competitions are registered trademarks of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).

Contest Math Pro™ is an independent educational preparatory instrument developed and published by Kinetic Inspiration LLC. Contest Math Pro™ is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with the Mathematical Association of America or any other competition organizer.

6. AI Coach Disclaimer

The Mathimus™ AI coach is designed to encourage critical thinking and give step-by-step hints. It is off until a parent turns it on. Its replies are generated by a third-party AI service and checked by automated safety filters, but AI-generated replies can contain mistakes and are provided for study assistance only. Kinetic Inspiration LLC does not guarantee specific scores on competition exams. Users are encouraged to independently verify all calculations and formal proofs.

7. Student Safety & Acceptable Conduct

Contest Math Pro™ is engineered to be a safe, respectful environment for students. Users agree not to:

• Attempt to probe, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security architecture of the app or backend API endpoints.
• Submit abusive, inappropriate, or malicious queries through support channels or input fields.
• Use automated bots or scripts to query the Mathimus™ AI Coach or scrape solutions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, KINETIC INSPIRATION LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL KINETIC INSPIRATION LLC, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF THE APPLICATION. IN ALL CASES, OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE APPLICATION OR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement and any dispute arising from your use of the Application shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
